Formatting SD card tutorial

How to format the micro SD card

IMPORTANT:

  • Formatting the microSD card will delete all the recordings on the card, so make sure to back up the necessary files by saving them in the internal memory or on BlackVue Cloud (Cloud compatible dashcam’s only), or by connecting the microSD card to the computer before formatting it. Pittasoft Co., Ltd. is not responsible for the loss of video files that were not backed up.
  • Formatting the microSD card at least once a month is recommended.
